Topic Tuesday!

Did you experience any morning sickness with your pregnancies?

Our Answers Here At IntelliGender:

“I had very little morning sickness when pregnant with my twins which I find odd. But, when I became pregnant with my 3rd I was sick as a dog. No vomiting, but constant nausea through the first trimester. Food was a complete turn-off for me. The only thing that helped were saltine crackers and seltzer water. My husband learned to love microwave oven dinners those first 3 months. The smell of food cooking made me gag!”

“I was fine with my first 2 and sick as a dog for 3 months with my 3rd. Not sure if it was morning sickness or upset sickness! We thought we were done and the others were already in school. A big surprise but a wonderful surprise! I do not know what I would do without her!”

“My oldest was conceived in Acapulco. For some reason, the last night, I had to throw up. I couldn’t have been more than 4 days pregnant but God must have known I needed to purge those margaritas! With my 3rd, I couldn’t stand the smell of the inside pool chlorine at Lifetime or Muehlenbeck. My 2nd was a challenge and I had to sit up in a chair to sleep my entire 3rd trimester. With my 4th, I would have sporadic, cute little spit ups. Of course, by then, I would have to cross my legs if you know what I mean!”

“I had no morning sickness during my first trimester, but as I moved into the 2nd trimester until my little boy was around 3 months old, I couldn’t stand to smell steak cooking – or even sit next to my husband as he was eating it! It was disgusting to me for the longest time. Glad I finally got over that!”
